PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the position of a probe in a subject, overcoming the disadvantage of the prior art to provide precise and enough information on the space position of a surgical device or the other devices for dissection.;SOLUTION: An ultrasonic imaging transducer array of a first catheter is made to correspond to the imaging plane, a second catheter has a first antenna, the second catheter is at least partially different from the first catheter, and a processor determines the angle position information of an imaging plane relative to the first catheter, the second catheter and the combined angle thereof as a function of a first signal of the first antenna.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
