PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic film having hydrophilic property and its retention performance, a lithographic printing material equipped with the hydrophilic film, an antifouling component, an anticlouding component, and a method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate having a non-image area excellent in hydrophilic property and life using the same. PSOLUTION: (A) In a molecule, two or more pieces of ring structures to be selected from a five-membered ring structure and a six-membered ring structure are provided. And, the hydrophilic film is composed of a composition containing a compound of which the ring structure has a hydrophilic group, and is obtained by curing the film by heat and/or light. Further, (B) a crosslinking agent should be preferably contained in the composition. The hydrophilic film is useful as an image recording layer of the lithographic printing plate and a hydrophilic component having an antifouling property and an anticlouding property.
