PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with the ventilation function for freely arranging a duct work all the way, installable in the ceiling of a narrow corridor, and capable of coping with one floor by small indoor machines even with a relatively large duct pressure loss. PSOLUTION: This air conditioner with the ventilation function is characterized by having a pair of indoor machines arranged in the ceiling of a building, sucking in indoor air from a suction port arranged on a back face and an under surface by an air blower and blowing off the air from a blowout chamber arranged on a front face by cooling or heating the air by a heat exchanger, a suction chamber for connecting opposed back face suction ports of this pair of indoor machines and having an outside air introducing part for introducing outside air on an upper surface, and an outdoor machine connected to a pair of duct connecting type indoor machines by a refrigerant pipe.
