PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a surface-coated cemented carbide cutting tool having a hard coating layer exhibiting superior abrasion resistance in high speed cutting work of high hardness steel.;SOLUTION: This surface-coated cemented carbide cutting tool is formed of a lubrication-coating layer composed of a zirconium oxide layer of the average layer thickness of 0.5 to 5 μm, by forming a hard coating layer composed of a composite nitride layer of Ti, Al and Si of the average layer thickness of 1 to 10 μm , after performing Cr bombard cleaning processing, by using a hard coating layer forming arc discharge device having a Ti-Al-Si alloy as a cathode electrode (an evaporator source), a lubrication-coating layer forming sputtering device having metal Zr as a cathode electrode (an evaporation source), and a vapor deposition device provided with a cemented carbide base body surface bombard cleaning arc discharge device having metal Cr as a cathode electrode.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
