PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe scaffold enabling the easy routing of an air hose for pneumatic-operated tools and capable of increasing workability in using the pneumatic-operated tools, a construction method for a building using the steep pipe scaffold, a joint for the steel pipe scaffold capable of easily constructing the steel pipe scaffold, and a metal fixture and a plug for the steel pipe scaffold.;SOLUTION: This steel pipe scaffold comprises a plurality of column parts formed by vertically connecting steel pipes to each other and is installed in a construction site having a plurality of working areas in the vertical direction. At least one column part is so formed to communicate at least some of the vertically connected steel pipes with each other and maintain the inside of the communicated steel pipes in an airtight state.
