PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding blade for optical equipment which is made light and has high rigidity and whose manufacture cost can be reduced, and to provide a manufacturing method for the light shielding blade for optical equipment and a light quantity adjusting device.;SOLUTION: A front curtain light shielding blade 11 has a blade member 11b which has nearly rectangular plate shape, whose thickness is 50 to 200μm, and which is composed of thermoplastic resin containing reinforcing material 11a, and a light shielding film 11c which is formed on the surface of the blade member 11b and whose thickness is about 5.0μm. The reinforcing material 11a is composed of particulates each having whisker (stylus-like) shape. The length of the particulate is ≤50μm and the diameter thereof is ≤1μm. The content of the reinforcing material 11a, that is, the weight ratio of the reinforcing material 11a to the front curtain light shielding blade 11 is 8.0 to 60 wt%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
