PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new system for automatically identifying alarm signals and transmitting information.;SOLUTION: A reporting unit 20 is provided for fetching via a microphone 50 information signals including an alarm sound issued by a medical instrument 11 and environmental sounds issued from around the medical instrument 11 and for converting the signals into predetermined transmission signals for output. A monitoring center 40 is provided with an information management unit 41 that receives an alarm signal of the reporting unit 20 via a telephone network 30 and outputs information about the alarm sound of the medical instrument 11. The reporting unit 20 identifies the alarm sound of the medical instrument 11 from the information signals. The reporting unit 20 comprises a neural network that learns a single or a plurality of signal patterns for identifying the alarm sound of the medical instrument 11 in advance, so that the alarm sound is identified from the information signals according to the signal patterns.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
