PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling method of the trace amounts of harmful substances, capable of heightening reliability to a measurement result when measuring the concentration of the trace amount of the harmful substance, a measuring method of the trace amount of the harmful substance capable of detecting the concentration of the trace amount of the harmful substance in exhaust gas continuously in real time, and a suppression method of the trace amount of the harmful substance capable of suppressing the trace amount of the harmful substance in the exhaust gas to have a concentration than lower the value designated by law.;SOLUTION: The exhaust gas, extracted from a stack 8 is supplied into absorption liquid in an absorption liquid vessel 22 to/from which the absorption liquid, is supplied/discharged at constant speed, to thereby absorb and collect the trace amount of the harmful substance in the exhaust gas into the absorption liquid. Then, the concentration of the trace amount of the harmful substance in the absorption liquid is detected continuously in real time, by using an analyzer 25 equipped with a laser meter, and the concentration of the trace amount of the harmful substance in the exhaust gas is calculated, based on the detection result.
