PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample holder cleaning container for cleaning sample holders, such as microarrays, tissue pieces, and slide glasses.;SOLUTION: The sample holder cleaning station for cleaning a sample holder comprises at least one retainer for housing the sample holder cleaning container, a station inflow/outflow portion that the retainer corresponds to the supply/exhaustion port of liquid near the housed sample holder cleaning container at cleaning, also has an overflow disk arranged around the retainer, a pump connecting the station inflow/outflow portion, and at least one liquid supply valve connecting the pump.
