PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a molten metal level changing a frequency setting of a disturbance compensator without either switching the disturbance compensator according to a frequency nor disconnecting the disturbance compensator from the control system, when a mold level control device equipped with the disturbance compensator is used and the molten metal level in the mold is controlled changing the frequency setting of the disturbance compensator.;SOLUTION: The mold level control device comprises a molten metal level meter 5 to detect the molten metal level in the mold, a control device 6 to output an opening command for a sliding nozzle 3 based on the molten metal level detected by the molten metal level meter and a molten metal level setting set in advance, and the disturbance compensator 8 that performs control calculation to compensate a disturbance in a specific frequency range based on the molten metal level detected by the molten metal level meter.
