SOFTWARE DIFFERENCE EXTRACTION APPLICATION SYSTEM, DIFFERENCE EXTRACTION DEVICE, DIFFERENCE APPLICATION DEVICE AND PROGRAM

摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce difference information in order to respond to scale increase of software regarding a difference extraction device which extracts difference between old and new versions for an object module of the software and a difference application device which applies the difference to the old version and creates the new version. PSOLUTION: Regarding the old and new versions, after contents of a file is analyzed by a file content analysis part 103, a physical continuous address space is mapped to another logical address space by an address space conversion part 106 and difference between them is extracted. In the case of application, the old version is similarly analyzed, the difference is applied to a result of address space conversion, after that, an address is returned to the original one by an address space inverse conversion part 158 and the new version is obtained.
