PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To examine the hereditary factor of a person liable to get depression by identifying a causal gene of depression and determining the expression state of the identified causal gene of depression.;SOLUTION: The method for the examination of depression contains the determination of the expression level of one or more genes in the frontal lobe of a rabbit used as a model animal of depression.
