PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility of undesired remaining of an image having a low resolution which is not suitable for printing in high quality when selection of an object to be printed is set by manual operation. PSOLUTION: This printing reception device comprises (a) a resolution information acquiring section for acquiring resolution information of image data received as an object to be printed, (b) a resolution information comparing section for comparing the acquired resolution information with a reference value, and (c) a printing object selection section that removes the image data from the object to be printed when the resolution information is lower than the reference value and sets the image data to be the object to be printed when the resolution information is not lower than the reference value.
