PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colloidal aqueous solution or a colloidal aqueous solution gel, usable as an antimicrobial, insecticidal and growth promoting agent for agriculture and horticulture, usable as a food additive, and usable as a liniment for protecting epidermis and the skin. PSOLUTION: The colloidal aqueous solution is formed by compounding silicon carbide especially green silicon carbide and water at a predetermined ratio and mixing. The colloidal aqueous solution is also formed by compounding silicon carbide, water and bittern at a predetermined ratio and mixing. The colloidal aqueous solution gel is formed by compounding green silicon carbide, water, bittern, sodium alginate and sodium chlorite at a predetermined ratio, mixing and heating.
