PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a porous membrane cartridge packing article with no membrane failure of a porous membrane and less deposition of dust, and a porous membrane cartridge packing article.;SOLUTION: The production method for the porous membrane cartridge packing article for sealing a barrel, a cap and a porous membrane cartridge provided with a porous membrane with a packing bag includes an assembling step S1 for assembling a porous membrane cartridge clamping the porous membrane at a predetermined position between the barrel and the cap; an inspection step S2 for inspecting the clamping state of the porous membrane of the porous membrane cartridge; a packing step S3 for sealing the porous membrane cartridge in which it is determined that the clamping state of the porous membrane is good in the inspection step S2 with the packing bag.
