PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a wet offset printing form which can produce a printing style with clear visibility.;SOLUTION: A wet offset printing form comprises a top layer 11 containing a photocatalytically and thermally modifiable material. The material can be photocatalytically turned hydrophilic by irradiation with light and lipophilic by heating. The hydrophilic state forms a surface that can be illustrated and the lipophilic state forms an illustrated surface. The top layer 11 of the wet offset printing form may contain absorption centers for irradiation, especially for laser radiation in the NIR range, with which heating of the top layer in the pattern of an image is attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
