PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stolen vehicle finding system, a vehicle theft preventing device, a stolen vehicle finding device and a stolen vehicle finding method for sufficiently securing security performance for vehicle theft.;SOLUTION: A vehicle 2 is mounted with a vehicle theft preventing device 3 for determining the presence of the occurrence of vehicle theft based on a loaded sensor group 8. On the other hand, a patrol car 4 is mounted with a stolen vehicle finding device 5 for determining the presence of a stolen vehicle by operating radio communication(radio LAN communication) with the vehicle theft preventing device 3. When the vehicle theft is detected by the vehicle theft preventing device 3, a theft detection signal Sa is transmitted from the vehicle 2. When the patrol car 4 makes its patrol, and approaches the stolen vehicle, and the stolen vehicle finding device 5 receives a theft information signal Sa, the stolen vehicle finding device 5 is turned into a status that the stolen vehicle is found out. Then, an own monitor 12 displays the result of the finding of the stolen vehicle and the ID number of the radio LAN of the vehicle theft preventing device 3, and the crew of the patrol car 4 is notified of the finding of the stolen vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
