PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proper compounding of base clays meeting a variety of tile products while recognizing the characteristics of waste glass and covering their weak point, and its sintering method.;SOLUTION: In this compounding, a trial compound is prepared which is an existing compound but a part of it is by 50% substituted with a waste glass, and a clay which is at least necessary for manufacturing and a silica sand are added and the waste glass equivalent to them is reduced. Then, while keeping the sintering time distribution of the existing sintering furnace, the temperature of the high temperature sintering zone is lowered stepwise by a specified unit and sintered for trial, if over-sintered, the sintering time is shortened, and if sintering is insufficient, the sintering time is extended, thus an ideal sintering condition is set. The sintering degree of the sintered product is not controlled by the compounding of the material and by burners, but by the control of the sintering speed, and a stable sintering width is obtained by a minute control of the whole sintering furnace.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
