SANITARY FIXTURE CLEANING IMPLEMENT AND SANITARY FIXTURE CLEANING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary fixture cleaning implement which can efficiently clean a sanitary fixture including a toilet bowl, and to provide a sanitary fixture cleaning method.;SOLUTION: The sanitary fixture cleaning implement 1 has a hard rotary disk 3 rigidly fixed to one end of a main shaft 2, a cover material 4 covering the hard rotary disk, and a pair of disk-type polishing plates 5A, 5B pinching the hard rotary disk in an axial direction. The polishing plates 5A, 5B are each formed of a non-woven fabric of synthetic fibers, as a base material, and bonded to external surfaces of the cover material 4. The hard rotary disk 3 has through holes 31 formed therein, and the cover material 4 made of a soft synthetic resin or a rubber elastic body fills in the through holes 31. When the sanitary fixture cleaning instrument 1 thus formed is used, the main shaft 2 is mounted on a drive unit 6 having a rotor shaft 65. Then upon driving of the rotor shaft 65 for rotation, the polishing plates 5A, 5B are pressed to a surface of the sanitary fixture 7 while being rotated in one direction via the main shaft 2, thereby easily removing even a stubborn stain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
