RAPID PROCESSING METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL TISSUE USING ULTRASONIC WAVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on a biopsy material for examination obtained by taking a part of a living body in a matter of several millimeters to 1-2 cm that it takes a long time in these processes, generally two to three days, most time of which is occupied by tissue embedding from tissue fixation to paraffin infiltration.;SOLUTION: Ultrasonic wave illumination is performed in processes from tissue fixation to dehydration, intermediate processing, and paraffin infiltration, while keeping temperature at 50°C to 70°C. This makes it possible to prepare a flawless pathological tissue specimen for tissue diagnosis in a shorter time than in the past.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
