PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resistant reinforcing structure of the existing steel tower necessary to only raise buckling proof stress.;SOLUTION: In the earth resistant reinforcing structure of the existing steel tower, an adhesion preventive coat 11 preventing the adhesion of mortar or concrete over the outside in the longitudinal direction of a steel-made closed section members 4 or steel-made L-shaped section members comprised of the steel tower 1, and cylindrical buckling restrained members 10 constituted by connecting a plurality of split type buckling restrained pieces 12 to each other are arranged to the outside of the steel-made closed section members 4 or the L-shaped section members forming the adhesion preventive coat 11 so as to surround them and, at the same time, the mortar or the concrete is filled/solidified between the adhesion preventive coat 11 and the cylindrical buckling restrained members 10. Short local section buckling prevention reinforcing members 7 opposite at an interval in the longitudinal direction of the steel-made closed section members 4 or the L-shaped section members are fixed, at the same time, the adhesion preventive coat 11 is provided, the cylindrical buckling restrained members 10 are arranged so as to surround them, and the mortar or the concrete 5 is filled/solidified between the adhesion preventive coat 11 and the cylindrical buckling restrained members 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
