PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display liquid for electrophoresis by which the optimum mixing ratio can be determined when two kinds of particles having charge polarities different from each other are used. PSOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a solution for electrophoresis containing two kinds of particles having charge polarities different from each other, the mixing ratio of a first particles having a first charge polarity and a second particles having a second charge polarity different from the first charge polarity is determined based on a first transfer degree, a first particle diameter and a first density of the first particles and a second transfer degree, a second particle diameter and a second density of the second particles.
