PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten dispersibility of electrophoresis particles in relation to a dispersion solution for an electrophoresis display device and its manufacturing method, the electrophoresis display device using the electrophoresis dispersion solution and an electronic device provided with the electrophoresis display device. PSOLUTION: In the dispersion solution formed by dispersing the electrophoresis particles 6 and a surfactant in a dispersion medium 5 having a hue different from that of the electrophoresis particles 6, the value of the solubility parameter of the surfactant is specified to be a value between values of the solubility parameter of the electrophoresis particles 6 and the solubility parameter of the dispersion medium 5.
