PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffering device capable of coping with the case that many various manufacturing process data flow from a manufacturing terminal to a database for backup without being accompanied by a change in hardware environment between the manufacturing terminal and the database.;SOLUTION: This buffering device 1 receives data of operation results from a plurality of terminals set on a manufacturing line, and for receiving data in a buffer 5, and transmits the data of the operation results from the manufacturing line to the destination of a database which stores the data. Then, this buffering device 1 is provided with a data writing processing part 2 for storing the data of the operation results transmitted after compressed at a plurality of terminal sides in the buffer 5 while the data are compressed, a data reading/decompression processing part 3 for acquiring and decompressing the compressed operation result data from the buffer 5 and a data transmission processing part 4 for transmitting the decompressed data to the destination of the database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
