COUNTERFEIT-PREVENTING FORM AND METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING GENUINENESS OR SPURIOUSNESS

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterfeit-preventing form to which one or more threads subjected to a cholesteric liquid crystal printing (CLC printing) treatment are added and whose genuineness or spuriousness can easily and surely be discriminated, and to provide a method for discriminating genuineness or spuriousness with the form. PSOLUTION: The counterfeit-preventing form 1 to whose base paper 2 threads 3a, 3b are added and disposed in parallel to each other is characterized by applying a color-changing CLC printing treatment to at least one of the threads, applying a conventional coloring printing treatment to another thread, or applying a left-handed circularly-polarized light CLC printing treatment to one of the two threads and right-handed circularly-polarized light CLC printing treatment to another, and then adding the two threads in parallel to the form so that the two threads pass intermittent exposed portions 6 disposed in the base paper and closed portions 7 between the exposed portions. The method for discriminating the genuineness or spuriousness comprises observing the thread 3 portions of the counterfeit-preventing form through a left or right-handed circularly-polarized light-selecting film for discrimination.
