PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facing material for a perforated headrest which can be easily manufactured, its sewing method, and a perforated headrest using the facing material. PSOLUTION: The facing material is provided with a main body part constituted of a front surface component 13, a rear surface component 11, a side face component 12 and hole components 14 and 15 and a bottom surface part. The main body part sewing process of sewing the side face component 12 around the front surface component 13 and the rear surface component 11 excluding the lower end side and sewing the hole components 14 and 15 to hole parts 13a and 11a formed on the front surface component 13 and the rear surface component 11, the bottom surface part sewing process of turning the bottom surface part and the main body part face each other, inserting the main body part from a slit and positioning and sewing the lower end part of the main body part and the outer peripheral part of the bottom surface part, and the process of turning over the bottom surface part to face up from a sewing part sewn in the bottom surface part sewing process are executed.
