PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge dewatering system to reduce the time and manpower for cleaning filter cloth and improve operation efficiency for a filter press sludge dewatering machine. PSOLUTION: The sludge dewatering system comprises the filter press sludge dewatering machine, a sludge feed pipe disposed on the filter press sludge dewatering machine, an acid feed pipe connected with the sludge feed pipe, an exhaust pipe connected with the sludge feed pipe and a discharge pipe disposed on the filter press sludge dewatering machine. The acid solution is led through the acid feed pipe into the filter press sludge dewatering machine and a plurality of filter cloths are washed in situ in the cleaning filter press sludge dewatering machine.
