PROJECTION VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE, METHOD OF CORRECTING SHAPE OF PROJECTION VIDEO IMAGE, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type, matrix display device that corrects distortion of a projection video image when a video image is projected with a projection light axis being obliquely inclined to a screen. PSOLUTION: A device body projects a video image displayed on a matrix video display to a screen as radial projection light through a projection lens, so that it displays a projection video image on the screen. A distortion correction device corrects distortion of a projection video image when the image is projected with a projection light axis being obliquely inclined to the screen. Test video means displays a test projection video image on the screen using, for example, a rectangle as a test video image. A coordinate input device inputs coordinates of four corners of a non-distorted rectangle corresponding to coordinates of four corners of a distorted rectangle. A pointer moves the four corners of the distorted rectangle to the four corners of the non-distorted rectangle. A distortion correction circuit corrects distortion of the projection video image based on a relationship between the coordinates of the four corners of the distorted rectangle and the coordinates of the four corners of the non-distorted rectangle.
