PAPER TURNOVER DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE HAVING PAPER TURNOVER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper turnover device enabling the simplification of a turnover and carrying route on switchback and capable of coping with high productivity and high reliability in the paper carrying device of an image forming device.;SOLUTION: This paper turnover device comprises a turnover route to which paper sheets to be switched back are fed, a branch passage branched from the turnover route, and a paper turnover means installed on the downstream side of the branch position of the branch passage in the turnover route in the carrying direction. The speed of the paper turnover device is switched for carrying between a paper accepting speed for accepting paper sheets at a paper carrying speed, a pull-in speed set faster than the accepting speed for carrying the accepted paper to a turnover stop position, and a turnover speed for carrying the paper sheets to the branch passage after being switched back from the turnover stop position. The paper turnover device comprises multiple accepting speed and pull-in speeds, and the pull-in speeds are switched by the values of the paper accepting speeds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
