PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scalp skin irritation-alleviating composition that can alleviate the primary scalp skin irritation and inflammation caused by a chemical treatment such as hair-coloring dye or permanent wave hair treatment and provide a method for alleviating scalp skin irritation.;SOLUTION: The scalp skin irritation-alleviating composition is produced by mixing 2 pts.wt. of a red wine yeast extract liquid, 0.1 pt.wt. of a carboxylvinyl polymer, 5 pts.wt. of 1,3-BG (butylene glycole), 5 pts.wt. of denatured ethanol, 5 pts.wt. of polyethylene glycol 400 and a suitable amount of purified water. Before or after the hair is treated with hair-coloring dyes or the permanent wave hair treatment, or the both timing, the scalp skin irritation-alleviating composition is applied to the scalp whereby the method for alleviating the irritation of the scalp is carried out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
