PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient crosslinking method for biodegradable polyesters, able to improve physical properties depending on application without spoiling biodegradability of the biodegradable polyesters, and crosslinked products prepared by the method.;SOLUTION: The highly efficient crosslinking method for the biodegradable polyesters comprises a process for mixing and kneading a polyfunctional monomer having two or more double bonds in one molecule with at least one species of biodegradable polyesters and a process for irradiating radioactive rays by heating the kneaded product at a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature of the biodegradable polyesters and equal to or lower than the heat degradation temperature of the biodegradable polyesters. Preferably, the biodegradable polyester is a polylactic acid and the polyfunctional monomer is a triallyl isocyanurate or a triallyl cyanurate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
