PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a member by restoring the dimension.;SOLUTION: A method for repairing components (10) comprises a step of preparing a component (10) having a defect to be repaired and a step of depositing an aluminum containing repair material over an affected area (24) on a surface (25) of the component (10) so that the repair material plastically deforms and bonds to the affected area (24) at the time of collision with the affected area (24) and thereby covers the affected area (24).
