PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a metallic material by a cold spray method capable of forming a high dense coating having high bondability with a base material at high sticking efficiency, to provide a manufacturing method of a powder material for cold spray, and to provide a cold spray coating.;SOLUTION: In order to repair the base material composed of the metallic material selected from a group consisting of high-carbon steel or alloy steel based on it, in the method of repairing the metallic material by the cold spray method, the powder material for the cold spray is made to flow together with the supersonic flow of a working gas at a temperature lower than a melting point or a softening temperature of the powder material for the cold spray and is made to collide with the base material at a high speed in a solid phase state as it is to form the coating.
