PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noise at the listening position of a sound signal in electronic equipment which outputs the sound signal using an ultrasonic speaker.;SOLUTION: This invention is a noise eliminating device which is used in the electronic equipment which outputs the sound signal by using the ultrasonic speaker and which eliminates noise at the position where users listen to the sound signal and the device is equipped with; a signal of an environmental sound recording part which records environmental sounds at the listening position of the sound signal with a microphone, etc., and performs the transmission of the signal of the recorded environmental sound; a signal receiving part which receives the signal of the environmental sound transmitted from the signal of the environmental sound recording part; an elimination signal generating part which extracts a noise signal from the signal of the environmental sound, and generates an elimination signal for eliminating components of the noise signal; a carrier wave signal source which generates a carrier wave signal of an ultrasonic frequency band; and an ultrasonic transducer which is driven with a modulated signal by which the carrier wave signal is modulated with the elimination signal, and which outputs sound waves by transducing the modulated signal into the sound waves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
