PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily acquire guide information by inputting identification information of a start point and an end point.;SOLUTION: A guide center server 1 is provided with a tag database 2 for storing the identification information of tags arranged on a plurality of spots and the positional information of these tags and a guide information providing part 5 for receiving the identification information of a tag being the start point and the identification information of a tag being the end point from the tags arranged on the plurality of spots, retrieving the positional information of the tags corresponding to the received identification information of the tag as the start point and the identification information of the tag as the end point from the tag database 2, setting the retrieved positional information of the tags as the positional information of the start point and the positional information of the end point, and providing guide information 8 to a portable terminal 11 on the basis of the positional information of the start point and the positional information of the end point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
