PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aging device and an aging method, which efficiently age various components including electron emitting elements and phosphors, which constitute display pixels, in a short time.;SOLUTION: A power supply control part 6 switches the number of times of application of a driving voltage outputted from a scan line driving part 3 to a scan line Y (to normal/double acceleration/quadruple acceleration/8-fold acceleration) by external parameter indications or the like to perform aging control for a display panel 1 before shipping, with always proper scan line driving.
