PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter protective hardware capable of protecting an oil filter and strongly fixing it to the casing of a speed reducing/reversing gear for ships.;SOLUTION: An oil filter protective hardware 10 is detachably attached, protruding sideways, to a casing 5 of a speed reducing/reversing gear 50 for ships, acting to protect an oil filter 3. It comprises a top plate part which is fixed to the casing 5 by its base end part and extends as far as near the tip of the oil filter 3 at the upper part of the oil filter 3, a side plate part 6 which is integrally hung from the side of the top plate part 6 and its base end part is fixed to the casing 5, and a fixing member 2 which is connected to at least one of the top plate part 1 and the side plate part 6 to hold the peripheral side of the oil filter 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
