PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To defrost or heat frozen foods or prepared daily dishes in child zone easily and rapidly by microwave oven heating, and to select different defrosting temperatures or heating temperatures in an identical container.;SOLUTION: Materials comprising a magnetic material having high coercive force prove to rapidly heat the magnetic material upon microwave irradiation. When a mixture of materials having different coercive forces and magnetic permeabilities is irradiated with microwaves, the magnetic material rapidly generates heat, and the time required for defrosting or heating is reduced. This effect is used for defrosting or heating at different temperatures in an identical container so that prepared foods that have not been cooked by microwave oven can be cooked.
