PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system of a treasure hunting game between teams using a mobile terminal. PSOLUTION: A game management server 40 obtains positional information on a treasure mobile terminal 10 and a treasure hunting user portable terminal 20 based on a specified cycle and transmits the information to a leader user terminal 30. The leadr user terminal 30 generates video information on the relative positions of the treasure mobile terminal 10 and the treasure hunting user portable terminal 20 based on the positional information and transmits the video information together with the content of a instruction inputted by a leader user to the treasure hunting user portable terminal 20. If a treasure is found, the game management server 40 transmits a notice of termination of the game to the leader user terminal 30 and registers the information that the treasure was found. If the information that the treasure has been found is not registered at the timing to terminate the game, the game management server 40 obtains the positional information at that time from the treasure mobile terminal 10 and the treasure hunting user portable terminal 20 and calculates the distances of the treasure from teams to make the team whose distance to the treasure is the shortest is the winner.
