PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld metal for a welded structure excellent in brittle fracture propagation resistance, even if brittle cracks are generated on a welded joint, which can prevent the propagation of the brittle cracks in a repair weld zone, and can prevent the fatal fracture of the welded structure, to provide a construction method therefor, and to provide the welded structure.;SOLUTION: The weld metal for a welded structure excellent in brittle fracture propagation resistance prevents the propagation of brittle cracks generated on a butt welded joint. The weld metal is multilayer-welded at the tip parts of the butt welded joint or the intermediate part thereof on a part or over the whole region in the sheet thickness of the base metal.
