TROUBLE RELIEF PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform trouble relief processing by eliminating the possibility that a different route in a section where trouble occurs is selected as a bypass route.;SOLUTION: If trouble occurs in a route of an MPLS or GMPLS network, a node having detected the trouble sends a Notify message as trouble event information from the node where the trouble is detected. A node to relieve the trouble once receiving the Notify message (S1) is triggered by the reception to start clocking a protection time (S2). In the protection time, LSA of OSPF is gathered. Once the protection time ends, the node to relieve the trouble performs bypass route calculation based upon the Notify message and the LSA of OSPF (S3) to perform trouble relief by restoration (S4).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
