PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission of images and video images and to enable transmission of messages, including a multimedia.;SOLUTION: A method for transmitting messages between a mobile station and a second party, a wireless telecommunication system, a message service center and a mobile station are provided. The method includes the following steps for delivering messages, irrespective of a presentation of messages. That is, the messages are delivered through the same message service center, irrespective of the content type, and the same protocol is employed between a terminal and the message service center for all messages.
