PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner and a liquid developer for electrostatic image development outputting silver color, a recording material such as ink-jet ink and an image forming method, and to reproduce faithfully a complex electric circuit with high resolution of a wiring circuit without causing faulty conduction when the method by an electrophotographic system is applied to formation of a wiring pattern. PSOLUTION: A colorant consists essentially of silver, zinc and aluminum and has an average particle diameter of 0.5-25 μm and an apparent density of 0.7-3.0 g/cmSP3/SP.
