PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor for inhibiting the deterioration of a concrete structure such as the occurrence of crack, deformation, displacement, pop-out or exudate caused by an alkali-aggregate reaction and a method of inhibiting the deterioration caused by the alkali-aggregate reaction using the inhibitor.;SOLUTION: The alkali-aggregate reaction inhibitor uses a chelate reagent comprising at least one kind of a compound of a ≥5C organic acid, its salt or saccharide as an effective component and the concrete structure is dipped into the inhibitor in a form of an aqueous solution, the aqueous solution of the inhibitor is injected into the concrete structure or is applied on the concrete structure by surface wet dressing or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
