PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning treatment method for an anodically oxidized film applied to aluminum or an aluminum alloy.;SOLUTION: An aqueous solution comprising boric acid and sulfuric acid is used as a bath liquid. Alternating current is made to flow between the face to be treated and a nonconsumable electrode, and bath liquid residue remaining at the inside of cracks in the face to be treated and at holes and gaps in the details of the surface are removed. Regarding a desirable embodiment, it is recommended that a bath liquid added with at least one kind of acid selected from tartaric acid, malonic acid and acrylic acid is used. The current density is controlled to 0.3 to 1.5 A/dm2, and, as the power source, an AC power source with the commercial power source frequency of AC 10 to 20 V may be used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
