PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement-treating material by forming an excrement- treating material, which has been conventionally disposable, into a recyclable state in order to use resources effectively. SOLUTION: A granular material for treating excrements is characterized in that it is formed into granules having corrosion resistance, and water- nonabsorbing smooth surfaces. The granular material is used for treating excrements. This enables the recycling of the treating material, and is excellent from sanitary view point and useful for effective utilization of resources.
