PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inducing adventitious buds from sweet cherry fruit cultivated species through plant tissue culture technology.;SOLUTION: This method for inducing adventitious buds of sweet cherry fruit cultivated species is characterized by the following process: soaking a section of tissues of sweet cherry fruit cultivated species in a solution, medium or the like each containing auxins for a predetermined period of time, or subjecting the thus soaked section of tissues to low temperature treatment followed by culturing the thus treated section using cytokinin-containing culture medium or the like to induce adventitious buds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
