PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image analysis with the 3D or 4D image display based on a function map prepared based on the image information of an object to be analyzed.;SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a heart function index definition table preparing part for determining function information indicating the function of the object based on image information, a coordinate transformation table preparing part for preparing map coordinate information based on the image information, a heart function bull's eye map preparing part with a coordinate system based on the prepared map coordinate information for preparing a function map based on the function information determined by a function determining means, a selecting part for selecting an area requiring the image display in the prepared function map, and a display part for extracting the area information corresponding to the image information based on the function information and the map coordinate information corresponding to the selected area and displaying a 3D image.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
