High elastic warp knitted fabric and its manufacturing method

PURPOSE: To readily produce a highly elastic warp knitted fabric well balanced in the longitudinal and lateral directions even without weft insertion yarn having formed filling knitted texture by using an ordinary warp knitting machine without using a specific warp knitting machine having a weft inserting mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: This highly elastic warp knitted fabric has a sinker loop 22 in a course of elastic yarn for tying the needle loops of the same course among needle loops 21 of the elastic yarn 2 having formed a warp knitting texture and sinker loops 23 between courses of elastic yarn for tying needle loops of different courses among needle loops of the elastic yarn. The sinker loops 23 between the courses of the elastic yarn are arranged at more than one wales in the same course. The warp knitted fabric is produced by passing nonelastic yarn 1 through the whole guides of guide bars at the front side of a warp knitting machine to feed the yarn, passing the elastic yarn through a part of guides of back guide bars 2 to feed the yarn, overlapping the back guide bars along needles in one more number than guides which are not threaded and subjecting the nonelastic yarn 1 and the elastic yarn 2 to mixed knitting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
