PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable warp knitted fabric capable of obtaining fabric whose hem part is greatly curved in a wave shape.SOLUTION: The stretchable warp knitted fabric is made by inserting or knitting elastic yarns 8 and 9 into a ground weave of warp knit knitted by a non-elastic yarn 7 and includes a cloth part 2 to be a product and a waste course part 3 adjacent to each other in a weft direction. In a boundary 4 between the cloth part and the waste course part, there are provided a draw thread 12 for separating the cloth part and the waste course part from each other and a hem part 16 for preventing threads from becoming loose. The waste course part 3 includes netlike parts 6 each constituted of a plurality of holes 5, 5,... two or more of which are adjacently formed in a warp direction and in the weft direction, respectively.
